Construction and development consultancy DBK has appointed Kevin Theobold as director and head of the North West regional office, based in Altrincham.
Theobold, 46, spent seven years at Redrow as project management director responsible for schemes costing up to £60m.
Duncan Berry, principal director of DBK, said: "Kevin has been a key client of DBK's for several years, so it is tremendous to now have him on the Board. He is highly respected and experienced and enjoys a high profile in the industry, particularly in Manchester, so he was the natural choice to head up our North West office."
Prior to working for Redrow, Kevin Theobold headed up a project management and cost consultancy practice in Manchester, specialising in commercial development.
Theobold said: "As well as working with DBK's existing clients such as Miller Developments, Tesco and St Modwen, I am confident of raising the profile of the DBK brand through high quality service delivery, even with the significant challenges posed by the current market."
DBK's North West office employs 10 people and is currently working on a £100m Tesco store in Gateshead, Connah's Quay in North Wales for St Modwen and the 575-acre Omega development in Warrington for Miller Developments, Royal Bank of Scotland and the Homes & Communities Agency.
