Redrow brings Buckshaw manager to Fleetwood

Residential Management Group has been appointed by Redrow Homes to manage Harbour Village, a coastal development of 350 homes in Fleetwood, Lancashire.

Redrow is building 91 properties in the first phase of Harbour Village, with 17 homes occupied so far. Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes Lancashire, said: "We have a good working relationship with RMG, who for a number of years have been the managing agent at Buckshaw Village in Chorley, where they also look after the community centre and all-weather sports pitches. We've received excellent feedback from residents about the service provided, with clients commenting on how approachable their staff are.

RMG will be responsible for the open spaces at Harbour Village and will also manage the apartment blocks as and when they are built. RMG is one of the UK's largest residential property managers with £22m turnover and 400 staff.

Paul Sanderson, regional manager at RMG, based in Northwich, said: "By being appointed so early on in the development at Harbour Village, we have been able to use our expertise and support to ensure the resident management company has been set up correctly.

"Most importantly though, our advice and guidance on site layout will help facilitate long term, cost effective management for the new residents."
