Recom hires from Deloitte and Aecom
Salford Quays-based construction project management consultancy Recom Solutions has hired five staff, including from Aecom and Deloitte, as part of an ongoing expansion plan.
Sarah Leadbetter has joined as an associate director, having previously worked for Deloitte Real Estate’s Manchester office, with a focus on public sector project management experience.
Recom has also hired Jordan Stent from Aecom. Stent, who previously worked for Lend Lease, joins as a construction project manager.
The company has also hired two trainee project managers, Jessica Haslam and Mark Tobin, and office co-ordinator Michelle Woods.
Director Jason McKnight, who founded Recom with Joseph Dillon in 2012, said he expected to add further hires in the firm’s Manchester and Liverpool offices in 2018.
“We are delighted to welcome all five new members of staff as we strengthen our team and structure in line with the continued growth of the business,” he said.
“Sarah, Jordan and Michelle have excellent track records in their fields, and we are thrilled to have Jessica and Mark with us as we look to nurture our own talent for the future.”
Recent projects Recom has worked on include a £4m upgrade of Chancellors Hotel, and a £4m refurbishment of the Houldsworth Hall student accommodation complex, both for the University of Manchester.
Aecom to Recom. A real A&R man.
