Receivers pick Edward Symmons to sell residential plot

Administrative receivers Tomlinsons have appointed the Liverpool office of Edward Symmons to sell the residential development at the former Northgate Preparatory School in Rhyl.

A guide price of £440,000 has been put on the 0.47-acre site which has planning consent for 22 apartments.

The school has been demolished already on the site on Russell Road in the North Wales resort.

The consent is subject to a Section 106 agreement for the provision of seven affordable housing units and the sum of £52,277. There is also an overage agreement in favour of the previous owner.

The site is available following the collapse of an undisclosed local development company.
