Receivers dispose of investment assets

Sanderson Weatherall has completed the sale of two commercial properties, a retail warehouse in Warrington and a pool hall in Bolton for a total of £725,000.

In Warrington, an undisclosed buyer paid £425,000 for Osnath Works, a 27,866 sq ft former self-storage centre, two retail showrooms and a standalone warehouse partly let to The Fireplace Showroom on the A49 Lythgoes Lane, on a three-year lease at an annual rental of £36,500.

Sanderson Weatherall also disposed of the Rileys Sports Bar Bolton, at 393 Blackburn Road, to another unnamed buyer for £300,000. The investment generates an annual rental income of £37,000.

Both sales were on behalf of Joint Fixed Charge Receivers.

Rory Dillon, surveyor in the asset advisory and recovery division of Sanderson Weatherall Manchester, said: "It is encouraging to see investments of this calibre selling in the current market."
