Real estate lawyers join partner roster at Irwin Mitchell

The Manchester office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell has announced that Emily Williams and Paul Barnard have been promoted to partner.

Williams is experienced in all aspects of planning law, with a focus on planning litigation, both instigating and defending.

She joined Irwin Mitchell in April 2013 and has established herself as a niche planning litigation specialist, working nationally for different developer clients, institutions and investment companies, housebuilders, charities and Government departments.

Barnard focuses on all aspects of non-contentious real estate providing advice on property portfolio management to a wide variety of landowners and occupiers. He has a particular focus on strategic land projects, acting for promoters and joint ventures on residential and mixed-use projects across the country.

Andrew Tucker, group chief executive at Irwin Mitchell, said: “Promotion to partner level is a huge achievement which demonstrates the incredible hard work and dedication that each of these people has shown across their time at Irwin Mitchell. Each and every one of our new partners thoroughly deserves their promotion and I am proud to congratulate all of them on their success.”
