Re-gears and new tenants for Towers

Moorfield Group and Property Alliance Group have completed a string of re-gears and secured a number of new tenants at their joint venture Towers estate, Didsbury.

The recent re-gears have been completed to Broadcom, Calyx, British Airways, John Lewis, SPX and AIC on a total square footage of 120,098 sq ft, which is 42% of the space at Towers.

In addition, Energize Recruitment has also expanded, now occupying a total of 3,494 sq ft.

The most recent letting was completed to the global IT business ORACLE, which has taken occupation of 12,000 sq ft on the ground floor of Scotscroft.

Towers comprises nine office buildings totalling 290,000 sq ft.

Hugh Canham, a director of Moorfield, said: "Since the acquisition, we have undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment programme of works across the estate including extensive landscaping, the installation of new site signage and refurbishment of a number of reception areas.

"The recent planning permission allows us to now complete the full scope of works to ensure that our current and future tenants receive the very best in Manchester office accommodation and environment."

CBRE and WHR are the appointed letting agents on Towers and GVA is the managing agent for the estate.
