Rapleys appoints planning partner in Manchester

Andrew Bradshaw has joined the consultancy having spent the last three years at GL Hearn as head of planning.

He joins Rapleys’ York House office in Manchester, taking the team’s headcount to 29 and becoming one of nine partners.

Bradshaw has experience in both the public and private sectors and specialises in residential planning and development, and town centre regeneration.

He has represented Homes England as a planning consultant on various schemes across the UK during his career and has worked on drawing up town centre masterplans for Blackpool and Rochdale, among others.

Earlier in his career he spent two years as a director at WYG Group before leaving to join GL Hearn in 2017.

Richard Huteson, lead town planning partner in Manchester, said: “We are pleased to strengthen our team in Manchester through the appointment of Andrew who will be leading on the residential sector in the North West.”

Rapleys employs around 130 staff across seven offices in Manchester, Cambridge, Bristol, Birmingham, London, Huntingdon, and Edinburgh.

Rapleys counts Lidl among its clients and has helped the discount supermarket chain secure consents for new stores in Bolton, Salford and Wigan this year.

Andrew,
Congratulations on the new role. Is it really nearly 30 years since the days of Coraldraw and spray mount in Cheadle?
