Quorum sells Heywood industrial unit

Wilmslow-based Quorum Estates has sold the 2,800 sq ft unit 8 at Quest Park in Heywood to a local private investor for £215,000.

David Nuttall, from Nolan Redshaw, joint agent on the scheme, said: "Quest Park has a good mix of small units, which suits the local market. Quorum has carried out a good quality refurbishment on the site to include high specification offices, which has given the site a real edge over the competition.

"The purchaser was confident in the quality and location of the scheme which proves that, although things are tough, there is still a market for units which are presented correctly."

Quorum Estates bought the site on Moss Hall Road in December 2007 from Hanson Transport, which is located adjacent to Heywood Distribution Park.

Quest Park consists of three buildings, measuring 58,000 sq ft in total, on a 4.4 acre site comprising industrial units ranging from 2,755 – 14,256 sq ft, which are available on a freehold or leasehold basis.

King Sturge is joint agent on the scheme.
