PWA makes two hires

Preston-based consultancy PWA Planning has made two appointments, recruiting Matthew Wyatt from JWPC as a senior planner and Joe Davis from KPMG as a graduate planner.

The appointments come two months after PWA recruited former Preston City Council director of development Alison Gough. The latest additions take staff numbers at PWA to 14.

Paul Walton, director of PWA Planning, said: “We want to continue providing an effective and efficient planning service for our clients. That means bringing in people to give us the right mix of skills, as well as building capacity in the team.

“Matthew has been in the planning industry for over 10 years so brings bags of experience. Joe is another talented individual who can bring a fresh perspective to the business and build a great career with us.”

Wyatt joins PWA Planning after 10 years with Lancaster-based planning consultancy JWPC where he worked on a wide variety of projects across the North West. Davis, a geography graduate, has embarked on a career in planning after a two years working for KPMG in Manchester.

Clients of PWA include international forecourts operator EG Group, energy storage business Harmony Energy, housebuilders including Mulbury, Anwyl Homes, Altin Homes, McDermott Homes and Story Homes, as well as various NHS Trusts.
