PWA adds to Preston office

Lancashire-based planning consultancy PWA has made two new appointments to its Preston office, within a month of moving to larger premises.

Rachael Leather and Daniel Strode have joined PWA as planning technician and graduate planner respectively. Leather joined from fuel management services provider Fairbanks Environmental, while Strode has completed work placements with Sheffield City Council’s housing and regeneration team and the planning department at Bradford City Council.

The pair will support the practice’s associates and senior planners on a wide range of planning projects.

Paul Walton, director of PWA Planning, said: “Rachael and Daniel coming on board brings new energy and ideas to the practice. They will provide vital planning support to our senior team, allowing us to continue providing an excellent service to our clients.”

The new hires take staff numbers at PWA Planning to 10. The firm moved to Lockside Office Park in the Riversway Docklands area of Preston earlier this month.
