Pure Homes makes senior hires

The housing arm of North Wales-based Pure Residential & Commercial has added two members to its management team, a head of construction and a commercial manager, as it looks to expand in the North West.

Fred Swinburne has been appointed head of construction, having left Miller Homes after almost two decades where he was construction director for the North West. Prior to this, Swinburne spent 13 years at Redrow Homes in roles covering the North West and the Midlands.

He will work between the company’s St Asaph and Daresbury offices, the latter which opened in 2019 as part of Pure’s plans to expand out of North Wales. He will be responsible for the delivery of 20 luxury houses in Chester, among other existing projects within the portfolio.

Ian Clementson has been appointed as commercial manager based at Pure’s St Asaph office.

Clementson most recently worked as managing quantity surveyor for Pochin’s, a job he took up in April 2019 five months before the company went into administration.

Chris White, managing director of Pure Residential and Commercial, said: “These are important appointments for Pure Homes as we expand operations and respond to the need for quality housing.

“We are in a very good position now to really progress forward with a good land bank and a construction pipeline that will deliver in excess of £160m across the business over the next few years.”

Pure Homes is working to deliver over 750 homes across North Wales and Cheshire including a 320-home development at Ruabon.
