ProVision moves to Trafford Park

Broadcast equipment rental business ProVision has signed for a 16,000 sq ft base at a site owned by AK Worthington in Trafford Park.

The Westbrook Road site is adjacent to MediaCityUK.

A bespoke office and storage facility has been created within the building for ProVision by Russells Construction.

ProVision, owned by ITV Studios, previously occupied a site in Quay Street, Manchester, adjacent to the former ITV Granada studios.

Graham Waite, commercial manager at ProVision, said: "Finding a new facility in Manchester has been a carefully thought out project which considers ProVision's long term future.

"The AK Worthington site has been a natural choice considering location, security of the site and the proactive approach AKW took to support what we wanted to achieve.

"With the move to a new base in Manchester, combined with our new London office making a real impact and continued investment in new technology, our team is well equipped for the future".

Tony Worthington, chairman of AKW Group, said: "This deal builds on a long history of AKW Group working with the film and TV industry in the Manchester area.

"We identified this site as being an ideal extension to MediaCityUK and believed it would be of interest for a tenant in this sector, for whom proximity to the TV channels was important.

"Clearly as a leading supplier of equipment to the studios, ProVision needs to be nearby but also requires space and security, both of which we can offer at our site in Westbrook Road."

Recent ProVision credits include Vera Series 4, Mrs Biggs, 4 o'clock Club, Britain's Secret Homes, DCI Banks, Peaky Blinders, For The Love Of Dogs Series 1&2, The Syndicate Series 2, Utopia, Celebrity Super Spa and The Great Train Robbery.
