Property Forum joins ranks with Professional Liverpool

Merseyside Property Forum is to be absorbed into the larger trade body, Professional Liverpool.

Stuart Keppie, MPF chairman and partner at Keppie Massie surveyors, made the announcement at the Liverpool Cannes Do, held in Downing's The Capital office building on Friday.

The MPF has around 15 agency firms in its membership and aims to provide commentary and statistics on the local market. It is perhaps best known for collating the annual take-up figures and analysis for the commercial office market review published jointly with Liverpool Vision.

Mark Chadwick, chief executive of Professional Liverpool, said the organisation was making a push for the property sector to better reflect business activity in the city. It has traditionally focused on the financial and professional services sectors.

Around 300 people attended the Liverpool Cannes Do, where Chris Connor of Mason Owen received a property legend award after fighting back from a life-threatening heart attack late last year.
