Promotions at Myerson

The Altrincham-based law firm has promoted Chris Porter and Joanne Perritt in its commercial property team to partner.

Porter joined Myerson in 2004 from Addleshaw Goddard and specialises in agricultural law.

Perritt moved to the practice in 2007 from DLA Piper and has a particular expertise in insolvency and corporate recovery matters. She heads up Myerson's residential conveyancing department.

Jane Tenquist in the family law team was also made a partner alongside Porter and Perritt.

The firm now has 13 partners and 31 solicitors.

Carl Newton, managing partner at Myerson, said: "The commitment and experience of lawyers like Jane, Chris and Jo has propelled the firm forward. Annual turnover has increased by 27% over the last year and the firm is very busy in all departments. We anticipate that we will be recruiting more lawyers over the next year."
