Promotions and passes at DTZ

DTZ has promoted two members of staff to associate director and appointed graduates to permanent teams after passing their professional exams.

Elaine Duffy becomes associate director in the corporate real estate management team. Her role is to support Manchester Airport with the management of its non-operational estate and is based full-time with the client.

Also promoted is Gino D'Anna, who works in the professional team and specialises in landlord & tenant consultancy, advising on rent reviews, lease renewals, lease restructuring and asset management. Clients include the Home Office, the Identity and Passport Service, AWG, Manchester Airport Group, Pizza Hut and KFC.

In addition, DTZ's northern region graduates are celebrating exam success after passing their Assessment of Professional Competence. Based in DTZ's Manchester and Leeds offices respectively, Ramy Baxter and Paul Holcroft have both completed DTZ's training scheme and qualified through the RICS general practice route, a two year competency based learning programme built around a candidate's professional work and experience.

Baxter has joined the retail asset management team in Manchester and Holcroft will continue working with the corporate real estate management team in Leeds.

Mike Mitchell, MD UK Regions at DTZ, said: "These promotions are well deserved and demonstrate DTZ's commitment to employee development and recognising the work individuals do with our clients. We are committed to our staff, our clients and growing the business even during the current economic downturn. We are delighted with the APC results and the excellent pass rate of graduates across the region year on year."
