Promotion for King at GVA

Mike King has been promoted to the position of senior director within the valuation team at GVA's Manchester office as part of a national programme recognising exemplary performance.

First joining GVA in 2009, King has over 29 years' experience in property, with particular expertise in valuation and compulsory purchase.

He has also taken a leading role at GVA as an expert valuer presenting evidence in litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings, and in promoting GVA's UK service offer in this specialist field of work.

He is one of the region's few RICS accredited mediators.

His is one of 14 Director-level promotions across GVA's seven offices, with the appointments made to recognise those individuals considered integral to the success of their respective teams.

Commenting on the promotion, Mark Rawstron, head of the Manchester office, said: "This promotion recognises Mike's contribution to the growth of the Valuation team and will provide added value for GVA's public, private, and corporate clients and is recognition of the level of expertise that exists within GVA Manchester.
