Produce Exchange flats set for 2017 completion

Foster Marlon Group has started on site with the £8m conversion of the grade two-listed Produce Exchange in Liverpool’s Victoria Street into 54 apartments.

The 25,000 sq ft project is a joint venture between Foster Marlon, led by directors Rubaid and Uzair Zaidi, and Hong Kong Sotheby’s International Realty.

Construction will take place over the course of the next year, and the flats are due to be ready for occupation by summer 2017.

The application for the conversion included two ground floor retail units, which are now occupied by Turtle Bay and Grillstock.

The main contractor is Foster Marlon’s subsidiary, Foster Marlon Construction.
