Printing firm takes space in Tameside
Graphics and printing company Contact Originators has signed a 10-year lease on a 23,500 sq ft unit at Fifth Avenue, a business park in Dukinfield.
The company has relocated from Bredbury Park Industrial Estate in Stockport as part of its expansion plans.
The Fifth Avenue unit was previously occupied by Quinton Tyres.
The park, owned by Charles Stuart Properties, is located off Astley Street, close to Dukinfield Cricket Club.
Other tenants at Fifth Avenue include plastic manufacturer Ritrama and commercial printer DXG Media.
Steve Mulcahy, chief executive of Contact Originators, said: “Our new location will provide us with everything we need in terms of infrastructure and facilities for our future plans.
“We are creating a fully streamlined, automated facility, with the very latest innovations from our technology partners, to enable our vision of what a prepress plant should look like in the 21st century.”
Commercial property agent Roger Hannah represented the landlord and the Contact Originators was unrepresented in the deal.
Julien Kenny-Levick, director at Roger Hannah said: “The letting of the premises at Fifth Avenue re-enforces the strength of demand that exists in the market for high quality industrial and production facilities in Greater Manchester.” ,
A printing company used to be a great covenant for a landlord in the olden days, not anymore
