Printing firm expands in Cheadle

Royal London Asset Management and Property Alliance Group have let 30,000 sq ft at Orion Business Park in Cheadle to print manager APS Group.

The company already occupies 48,000 sq ft on the estate and agreed an eight-year lease on the additional space at a rental of £5.75/sq ft.

Simon Hampson, director at WHR, joint letting agent with King Sturge, said: "This letting represents the continued expansion of APS and demonstrates the market for high quality, well located space in the South Manchester area."

Hampson added: "Despite challenging market conditions, the supply of new space continues to diminish at an increasingly rapid rate and soon companies will have to consider either older second hand stock or commit to 'design and build' in the vacuum before new speculative space comes on stream again."
