Prime Property secures deal at M60 Office Park

In a move that will see staff relocate from Middleton and Blackburn, international lift company Otis has signed up for 5,800 sq ft at the business park in Swinton.

The company has taken a 10-year lease on the space at Oak Court, which is now fully let. Other occupiers in the building include Enersys and H&K Fire Engineers.

Otis’ move leaves two suites of 2,000 sq ft each available at the adjoining Beach Court building, which includes occupiers Kingsbury Holdings and BT Local Business.

Two further buildings of 23,500 sq ft, Elm Court and Maple Court, have also recently been completed and are both currently available. JLL and Cushman & Wakefield are the retained agents; JLL advised Otis on its move; the rent is undisclosed.

Richard Wharton, director for office agency at JLL, said: “We undertook a comprehensive search of potential options throughout North Manchester and M60 Office Park was the standout location in terms of the quality of space, motorway access, security and onsite parking.

Imran Younus, commercial director of Prime Property added: “It has been a fantastic year for us at M60 Office Park, we have signed up five new tenants varying from start-ups to some big names. The letting coincides with start of construction of the new amenity hub which will open in the New Year”.
