Pozzoni promotes in care team

Altrincham-based architects Pozzoni LLP has promoted Andrew Smith to the role of associate.

Speaking about his promotion, Damian Utton, a partner at Pozzoni, said: "Andrew has overseen the successful delivery of a number of care village developments with extra care schemes throughout the North West and is currently working on a housing with care scheme on site in Liverpool. Unfortunately we can not name the client's through confidentiality."

Past clients of Pozzoni include New Charter Homes which appointed the firm to design a £3.6m extra-care housing development at Gorse Hall Road in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester.

Pozzoni also worked alongside Pennington Choices in managing the procurement, project development, and design process of a £5m care home at Redbank on Lowe Street in Radcliffe, Bury, currently under construction.

Smith joined the architects in January 2008. Pozzoni also has an office in London.
