Powell Williams creates three new equity partners
Chester-based building consultancy Powell Williams has changed its company structure and doubled the number of equity partners.
Powell Williams has converted from a private partnership to a limited liability partnership. The original equity partners of Andy Williams, lead partner at the Chester office, Michael Jones, lead partner at the Birmingham office and Andrew Marshall, lead partner at the London office have been joined by three additional equity partners: Darren Ward in London; David Heatherington in Birmingham; and Martin Hunt in Chester.
Andy Williams said the firm enjoyed 6% revenue growth last year to £1.4m. He added: "Converting to LLP means we can operate a more flexible business model, separating the ownership of the business from the day-to-day management of the firm. As a result, our partners can concentrate on relationship-building and service delivery, adapting our offering to reflect specific economic and commercial drivers relevant to those client businesses."
The firm's client base includes Aviva, Standard Life, BP Investment Management, ITV, Boots and F&C Reit. Powell Williams' services include acquisition and vendor's surveys, dilapidation strategies, refurbishment, maintenance, expert witness advice, project management and development monitoring.
