Portcullis lets Oldham site to NVR Fleet

Nolan Redshaw, acting on behalf of landowner Portcullis, has secured a letting at a two-acre site close to junction 22 of the M60 motorway in Hollinwood near Oldham.

The compound was let to NVR Fleet at an annual rent of £25,000/acre. NVR is a contract leasing company for commercial vehicles servicing major national clients and local authorities, and is establishing a regional base to service clients in the North of England.

The site is situated close to Portcullis' proposed four-acre office development next to Hollinwood Train Station, which achieved planning permission for its first phase earlier in the year.

David Nuttall of Nolan Redshaw, advising Portcullis on both sites, commented: "This letting is an indication of the potential for this area, as well as a boost for the local economy. Hollinwood has been in need of regeneration for some time, and perhaps the green shoots of progress are now beginning to break the surface. Portcullis has already made significant capital investments and will be investing further with the office scheme, illustrating its commitment to Hollinwood, which will hopefully help catalyse further investment in the area."
