Pochin’s office plans in Crewe set for consent

Cheshire East Council is expected to grant planning permission to a 65,000 sq ft office proposed by Pochin’s Developments at Crewe Business Park, being built as expansion space for Radius Payment Solutions.

The four-storey L-shaped building would be constructed on a site on the North side of Electra Way within the park.

Designed by AEW Architects, the block could accommodate up to 500 staff, and includes 182 parking spaces.

Radius provides products for the fleet and logistics market. The company currently occupies two offices on Herald Drive in Crewe, with 568 staff. When construction of the new building is complete, Radius would transfer 400 staff, to free up space in its Herald Drive offices “to create a better working environment for employees”.

Cheshire East Council’s planning committee is due to meet on Wednesday 1 March, and the project has been recommended for approval.
