Pochin gains £1m housing contract
Plus Dane Group has appointed Pochin Homes to build 13 houses and flats at its Bakers Lane development in Winsford, Cheshire.
The new housing accommodation will total approximately 10,000 sq ft and will be made up of two and three bedroom semi-detached and terraced homes as well as two bedroom flats, available on a rent-to-buy scheme.
John Russell, commercial director of Pochin Homes, said: "This scheme is the culmination of months of hard work by all parties involved, to increase the amount of housing in the Winsford area. We are pleased to play a part in helping to bring this strategy to life and it is fantastic to be part of a project that will bring much needed affordable accommodation to the local community.
"Works are due to commence in early April and are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
"We hope to announce in the near future further developments where we have engaged with partners and the local communities to provide both affordable and private residential schemes."
The contract is worth £1.09m to Pochin Homes.
