Pochin adds to construction workforce

Middlewich-based Pochin Construction has welcomed seven new members of staff this month and promoted three of its existing team.

Pochin said it is seeing increased demand for its services across planning, project management, quantity surveying and site management.

Andy Newby joined as senior site manager; Jamie Heptonstall as planning manager; Chris Mawdsley as senior quantity surveyor. Stephen Roberts and Keith Chapman have both come on board as project managers.

Also joining are Willem Landman as trainee assistant site manager, and John Williams as general operative.

Iain Grant has been promoted to contracts manager, and recently received a Long Service award following 21 years with the company. Richard Bartley was also promoted to contracts manager and Ben Edwards has been promoted to project manager.

Jamie Heptonstall previously worked with the Bowmer Kirkland Group, Chris Mawdsley worked at Vinci, Keith Chapman was at Lockwoods Construction. Stephen Roberts was at BAM. Andy Newby worked in New Zealand and Willem Landman was working in South Africa before coming to work with Pochin.
