Plexus Cotton signs at Chapel Street

Cotton supplier Plexus Cotton has signed a 6,000 sq ft lease at Rumford Investments' 20 Chapel Street in Liverpool city centre.

Plexus Cotton was founded in 1990 and operates a global network of partnerships involved in farming, warehousing, logistics and marketing operations. It owns the largest cotton producing companies in Malawi, Mozambique and also has substantial interests in Uganda, Zimbabwe and China.

Rumford let 42,000 sq ft of office space at 20 Chapel Street in 2010. The Plexus deal follows closely behind the recent letting to Fujitsu, for 4,200 sq ft.

The agents on the scheme are Mason Owen, Hitchcock, Wright & Partners and DTZ.
