Plans in for Liverpool GeoPost depot

Developer St Modwen has submitted proposals for a 69,000 sq ft distribution unit for French parcel delivery firm GeoPost at the Stonebridge Industrial Estates in Fazakerley.

The scheme on Sugarbrook Drive is on a 6.7-acre grassland site in the South West corner of the estate. Outline planning permission was granted to owner Liverpool Land Development Company for industrial development on the plot in 2006.

The development will include a distribution facility, in addition to parking and service yards.

It is understood that the unit will be occupied by GeoPost subsidiary DPD. DPD currently has a depot in Triumph Business Park in Speke as well as locations across Manchester.
