Place readership up 369% in 2010

It's been an extremely good year for Place, with readership for the year to date totalling 198,613 unique visitors, up 369% on 2009, as Place reinforces its position as the leading title for property and regeneration coverage for the region.

The drastic growth reflects the fact that for three quarters of 2009 Place was still a paid-for subscription site, whereas it has been free throughout 2010.

Place is building a loyal readership with the majority of the 198,613 unique visitors returning to the site. November saw 26,140 unique visitors, compared to 13,781 in January.

Other key statistics for the period from 1 January to 20 December are total visits 514,333 (up 311% on 2009) and pages read 996,992 (up 228% on 2009).

This year we have brought you an unrivalled series of features and events, including:

  • Place on Tour during Mipim week
  • Green Week in May
  • Roundtable debates on the state of the market
  • Conferences on:
  • Social housing
  • Knowledge economy

  • A design review of landmark projects in the region
  • Agents half-year review
  • Professionals half-year eview
  • Special report revisiting RIBA Award winners
  • Series of breakfast briefings on development in Cheshire West & Cheshire
  • Place 100 power list

We look forward to delivering these and new features and events in 2011. Lastly, may I take this opportunity to thank all our readers and supporters this year and here's to another strong performance in 2011.
