There are only a few tables left at this year’s Place Party, due to be held next month in the newly refurbished Palace Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 13 October.
Last year, 200 guests enjoyed the inaugural Place Party at Manchester Hall. This year’s event is designed to allow more readers to enjoy an informal evening entertaining clients, staff and contacts.
So far, more than 650 tickets have been sold. Attendees include Morgan Sindall, Shoosmiths, AEW Architects, Scarborough Group, WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff, NJL Consulting, Planit-IE, Feilden Clegg Bradley, Pin Property, DAC Beachcroft, Capital & Centric, Claremont Group Interiors, and Squire Patton Boggs.
For a full list of attendees see the foot of the registration page here. Tables and individual seats are priced at £800 and £80 respectively, plus VAT.
Kier Group, Kuits Solicitors and Lambert Smith Hampton are the sponsors of this year’s event. Opportunities remain for getting involved and raising your company’s profile. Speak to Dino Moutsopoulos, commercial director, on 07803 988112.
Our setting for the evening, the Palace Hotel, was completed by Alfred Waterhouse, architect of Manchester Town Hall and Manchester University as the office of insurance firm Refuge Assurance in 1895. The hotel is currently nearing the end of a £20m renovation and reconfiguration. The Palace’s two buildings on Oxford Street and Portland Street will be linked and a new entrance created for functions, alongside an internal street to be named Waterhouse Way.
Place Party offers the chance for property folk to enjoy a first look at the famous landmark as it returns to its former glory.
