Join WHR, Hourigan Connolly, Barnfield, Russell Homes, Nolan Redshaw and many more on a diverse tour of the borough's strategic development opportunities and recently completed projects.
Representatives from these companies have already registered for the field trip organised by Rochdale Development Agency and Place North West.
The tour is aimed at investors, developers, occupiers and agents. The event will take place on the morning of Wednesday 22 October, starting with breakfast at the production facility of fast-growing local occupier Hanson Springs.
Guests will be shown sites and hear from developers, council directors and agents as we visit Crown Business Park, Stakehill Industrial Estate, Castleton development area, Axis Point, Rochdale town centre and Kingsway Business Park among others.
Among the opportunities for occupiers, developers and their advisors will be a hotel operator to serve Kingsway, housing land at Dale Mill and retail and leisure units in the £250m redeveloped town centre.
The tour is due to begin at Hanson Springs at 7.45am and conclude around 12 midday.
Peter Schofield, group chairman of car care products manufacturer has Tetrosyl, which recently acquired a 50,000 sq ft headquarters in Rochdale, said: "The opportunity to acquire Newgate House came along at a time when we had to make a decision to move and are very pleased to have acquired the building. The response and support we have received from Rochdale Council and Rochdale Development Agency has been first class."
Richard Hagan, founder and managing director of Rochdale's Crystal Doors, a vinyl wrapped door manufacturer, said: "Rochdale is the best place to be if you want to succeed in business. I go to all kinds of events all over the country and meet managing directors and executives from all sorts of businesses and they are amazed at the local support I draw on.
"The fact that I can pick up the phone to Rochdale Development Agency or the Business Growth Hub and immediately get practical support and advice, amazes people. Help is right here on the doorstep for businesses and it's fantastic. I couldn't have survived without it."
