Delegates who cannot join us in person at our forthcoming in-person conferences will be able to watch events live via video stream thanks to a new digital ticket option.
Place launched its in-person event calendar in April as lockdown began to ease and is looking forward to welcoming guests back this month.
Our first in-person event will be the Cheshire Development Update at Chester Racecourse on 24 June, in association with Onward Homes and Chester Growth Partnership. Place is watching the government guidelines closely and will adapt the capacity and other measures according to the guidance on the day.
Paul Unger, publisher of Place North West, said: “During the past year we have seen new ways of consuming our unrivalled market intelligence emerge due to the introduction of virtual events. This includes attendees logging on from across Europe to learn about the market in the North West of England. There have also been people working from home who told us they would not have been able to make it to a conference venue for whatever reason who have enjoyed being able to attend remotely. And so we felt it was vital we did not turn any of these people away in the future.
“Hopefully, the blend of in-person hosting combined with the video streaming we have invested in will provide the best of both worlds – networking and learning in the room as well as convenient online access to suit busy lives and remote working.”
Guests accessing online, using our tried and tested Remo platform, will be able to network with other online delegates during breaks. They can also submit questions to the panel of speakers during the conferences.
All guests – online or offline – will receive a copy of the video after the event.
