Pinsents’ Davies joins Hill Dickinson

Law firm Hill Dickinson has recruited Edward Davies to the construction team in its Manchester office as a senior consultant from rival Pinsent Masons.

Davies helped set up Pinsents' Manchester office and acts for major energy companies, engineers and construction firms. He said: "This represents a new strategic direction for me. Hill Dickinson, as the largest law firm in the North West, gives me an ideal platform to pursue this."

Hill Dickinson partner Michael Woolley, who leads the firm's construction team in Manchester, said: "Edward's skills and knowledge of the industry will be a huge asset to the firm. His move to Hill Dickinson represents a vote of confidence in our team, which is extremely gratifying."

Peter Jackson, managing partner of Hill Dickinson, said: "Edward Davies has an exceptional reputation in the construction sector. His arrival at Hill Dickinson is part of the firm's policy of continuing growth. We are in an excellent position, through this new appointment, to further strengthen the service we provide to our construction industry clients and add to the wealth of existing talent in our Manchester office."

Edward has been recognised in the Chambers & Partners directory as a leading construction lawyer both locally and nationally, having had entries for the last 14 years.
