Pinder Fry signs two at Christie Fields

Property fund specialist Pinder Fry & Benjamin has secured two new lettings at the Christie Park scheme on Christie Fields, Manchester.

Manchester City Council has taken a 10-year lease at a 5,000 sq ft building for its adult social care department. Bathroom supplier Cesana UK has taken one floor totalling 2,500 sq ft on a five-year lease. Quoting rental levels at the scheme are £18.50/sq ft.

Jonathan Baucher of sole letting agent Cushman & Wakefield commented: "Market conditions are still challenging but with these latest lettings now completed we are confident of securing a disposal of the remaining 2,000 sq ft floor."

Christie Park comprises seven stand-alone buildings on the edge of Didsbury and fronting the Princess Parkway.

Originally constructed by Business Homes, Pinder Fry & Benjamin acquired three units totalling 15,000 sq ft on the scheme last year.
