Pin lets Runcorn warehouse to R&D firm

KRSS, a scientific equipment provider, maintenance, and research business, has taken a 10-year lease on a 15,000 sq ft warehouse in Runcorn from landlord Pin Property.

The company supplies hospitals, universities, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with mass spectrometers, a sophisticated measuring equipment which can be used for the diagnosis of diseases, and drug development.

The unit in Manor Park Industrial Estate will be used to store the equipment, alongside a research and development laboratory.

Kevin Donaldson, managing director of KRSS, said: “Business in the last 12 months has been phenomenal and we are already looking to expand our operation in Manor Park thanks to the fantastic support we have received from the local council.”
