Physio Vet brings animals back to Crewe Hall Farm

The Duchy of Lancaster and Maple Grove's Crewe Hall Farm office conversion is now 50% let after a specialist dog physiotherapist moved into The Smithy at the Cheshire scheme.

The move sees animals return for the first time in seven years since the working farm closed. Physio Vet will open for business on 22 March 2010. This latest letting follows that of start-up TAO Sustainable Power Solutions which moved in at the end of last month.

Crewe Hall Farm, which dates back to the 1880s, was the subject of a 12-month redevelopment programme by Maple Grove and the Duchy in 2008. There are now around 24,000 sq ft of offices in five buildings.

Nick Dart, surveyor of lands for the Duchy of Lancaster, part of the Queen's estate, added: "Crewe Hall Farm is ideal for any organisation looking for environmentally-friendly and high specification office space with character. We are very pleased to welcome Physio Vet to its new home and we are delighted to see animals back at Crewe Hall Farm.

"The unique design and high quality specification of this development has meant we have attracted a lot of interest from quality businesses We have already welcomed several new start-ups and companies relocating from elsewhere in Cheshire and now have less than 50 per cent of the office space still available for rent."

Crewe Hall Farm has been owned by the Duchy of Lancaster since 1936. Lamonts Commercial and Knight Frank are the agents for the scheme.
