Petty Commercial recruits from LSH

The chartered surveyors has appointed Paul Dean to head its Manchester office.

Dean joins the firm following a period working as a chartered surveyor at Lambert Smith Hampton.

He has previously worked for West Properties, Ask Developments, working on its Greengate joint venture scheme with Salford Council, and CB Richard Ellis.

During his time at LSH and CBRE, Dean worked closely with Aneel Mussarat at MCR Property Group to provide valuation and development appraisal advice on over 2,000 student and residential properties and over 100 commercial properties.

His appointment as chartered surveyor at Petty takes the total number of senior surveyors in the firm to nine, who all work across the North West.

Clients of Petty include high street lenders Lloyds, Barclays, HSBC, Natwest, RBS, and the Co-Op.

Dean said: "I feel that my skills acquired in previous roles and my knowledge of the regional property market will bring a new dimension to the existing network. Manchester has a vibrant property portfolio and I am looking forward to the challenges that this will bring.

"The market is tough without a doubt but our size means we are able to offer a flexible and cost effective service that certainly doesn't compromise on results."

Established in 1928, Petty Commercial now has 50 staff in total with offices in Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Preston, and London, as well as its Manchester office based at Piccadilly House and headquarters in Burnley.
