Pets at Home signs at Liverpool Shopping Park

The national retailer will open at the Edge Lane development next week after agreeing terms on a 10,300 sq ft unit for 10 years.

Pets at Home will sit between between Wilko and Drome/Foot Asylum, having become the 22nd business to join the line-up at LSP since its first phase opening in October 2017.

James Maule-Finch, senior asset manager for park owner Derwent Group, said: “We’ve worked hard to build a strong line-up of well known retailers and high street names at Liverpool Shopping Park and Pets at Home is a very welcome addition.

“The park is now 90% let and we’re currently in talks with a number of retailers for the three remaining units.”

Other retailers at the park include M&S Food Hall, TK Maxx, River Island, Superdrug, H&M and Next, with food and drink operators including Subway, Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito and Greggs.

Along with a 49,000 sq ft stadalone B&Q, the main element of the first phase was the Western Quarter, a horseshoe block of 17 retail units comprising 105,000 sq ft. The next phase is expected to include more leisure, with the park in total set to offer 727,000 sq ft when complete.

Derwent’s retail portfolio extends to 1.74m sq ft across nine retail parks in the North of England.

The next phase including a new bowling alley cinema and more retail outlets and restaurants was meant to have been started this year 2018…..can I ask when this may happen…if ever.
