Peter Brett expands Manchester office

Development and infrastructure consultancy Peter Brett Associates has hired three and has taken an additional 1,000 sq ft suite at its base in 61 Oxford Street.

Matthew Wilson has been appointed as principal water consultant in the hydrology team, as the practice continues to strengthen its water and environmental services across the UK. Previously at AECOM, Wilson has successfully delivered flood risk solutions for a range of private sector clients in the residential, commercial, healthcare and energy sectors, as well as local authorities and water companies.

Matthew Barlow joined as principal acoustic engineer from Hann Tucker Associates. He has experience in consulting on noise and vibration issues at the planning and design, construction and commissioning stages having worked on projects including One Blackfriars, London and Jamie's Italian restaurants.

The transport team has expanded with the appointment of Fred Frempong, who joined from Waterman as senior transport planner. Frempong has provided transport and highways advice on a wide range of development planning projects on behalf of clients in the retail, residential and education sectors.

There are now 19 fee earners in the Manchester office.
