Pegasus grows Liverpool office

Planning consultancy Pegasus Group has appointed Darren Muir as principal planner, who joins from Cass Associates.

Muir spent more than three years at Cass, joining as a planner in January 2017 before being promoted to senior planner last July. 

He takes the number of staff at Pegasus’ St Paul’s Square office in Liverpool to 12. 

During his career, Muir has worked on commercial and industrial developments on the Isle of Man, strategic promotion sites across the North West and multiple residential developments on behalf of various housebuilders. 

Neil Culkin, senior director at Pegasus Group’s Liverpool office, said: “Our team has expanded off the back of our continued recent successes and Darren comes to us highly regarded within the Liverpool City Region. 

“His appointment will assist in further bolstering our planning, urban design, landscape and economics services and directly responds to an increased pipeline of strategic instructions.”  

Muir said: “It is important for me to maintain the relationships I’ve built in Liverpool over the years to continue offering a full range of services to clients.  

“Throughout my career in planning I have always been part of multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, landscape architects, urban designers and heritage specialists. A result of this is an ability to tackle problems with joined-up thinking.”
