Peel signs up to Downtown Liverpool

Peel Land & Property has joined business club Downtown Liverpool in Business.

Downtown Liverpool in Business was established in 2004 as a business club that would speak to the public sector agencies that govern Liverpool on behalf of its private sector members.

The organisation has a membership of over 300 private companies from across the Liverpool region. The club also organises a number of networking events which everyone from entrepreneurs, to high growth companies to the region's biggest companies attend.

Ian Pollitt, development investment surveyor at Peel, said: "Joining DLIB will allow Peel to engage more with the business community of Liverpool. It is a great organisation and their networking events are second to none. They are a well informed and respected voice of the business community and we are happy to be a member."

Frank McKenna, chairman of Downtown in Business, said: "It is fantastic to have Peel on board with DLIB, not only for the existing Downtown network, but for the private sector generally in Liverpool. Peel are spearheading major private sector initiatives and continue to create a platform for the private and public sectors to work collaboratively. The Peel brand is a tremendous addition to our membership, and we very much look forward to working alongside Ian Poliitt and his colleagues in the future."

Downtown in Business also has divisions in Preston, Manchester, and Lancashire.
