Peel secures final shed tenant in Chorley

Peel Logistics and funding partner British Airways Pension Fund have let a recently completed 185,000 sq ft warehouse at Revolution Park to GA Pet Food Partners.

The family-owned GA Pet Food Partners is one of Europe’s largest super dry pet food manufacturers and already has a 200,000 sq ft distribution centre on Revolution Park, as well as a manufacturing facility 10 miles away in Bretherton.

Jeremy Greenland, chief executive of Peel Logistics, said: “We’re pleased to have completed and let the final building at Revolution Park to GA Pet Food Partners. The deal justifies our decision to speculatively construct the unit and demonstrates our continued confidence in the prime North West shed market.”

Peel Logistics was represented by JLL, DTRE, Moriarty & Co and Littler & Co.

The 185,000 sq ft building fronts Buckshaw Avenue and is made up of 171,417 sq ft of warehousing space, with 12,500 sq ft of offices.
