Peel Ports adds weekly service

Peel Ports subsidiary BG Freight Line is to introduce a weekly departure from Rotterdam to Liverpool starting next week.

The ship will leave Rotterdam every Monday and visit Royal Seaforth Container Terminal Liverpool each Wednesday, calling at Belfast the following day and returning to Rotterdam each Saturday.

The new service will connect with the rest of the North West transport network through the Manchester Ship Canal barge service also operated by Peel Ports.

BG Freight's will be the first multi-user feeder from Rotterdam to Liverpool. A service operated by MSC for its own boxes only calls at both Rotterdam and Antwerp.

BG Freight line is headquartered in Rotterdam and has offices in UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France and Italy.
