Peel completes 175,000 sq ft logistics unit in Liverpool

Peel Logistics has finished the first speculative development of its portfolio at Liverpool International Business Park.

L175, the 175,000 sq ft industrial and logistics facility, has reached practical completion and is now available for occupation.

Located next to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, L175 is the largest speculative development in Liverpool in the past decade.

The building was designed by AEW Architects and constructed by Eric Wright Group.

Matt Fitton, development director of Peel Logistics, said: “The completion of L175 within budget and on schedule is another significant milestone for Peel Logistics.

“The speculative development is particularly attractive to the automotive sector with Jaguar Land Rover situated just five minutes away at Halewood. The opening of [container terminal] Liverpool 2 in the near future provides a catalyst for increased warehousing demand in the region and makes L175 an excellent opportunity for occupiers seeking to expand or build a new presence in the North West.”

JLL, Bilfinger GVA and Gerald Eve are the joint agents for L175.
