Peel and Barnfield progress M65 park

A joint venture between Peel and Barnfield Construction has completed the first phase of offices and gained consent for a hotel at Riverside Business Park in Barrowford, Lancashire.

Vantage Court, next to junction 13 of the M65, totals 35,000 sq ft of self-contained office units varying between 1,500 sq ft and 4,000 sq ft each.

Outline planning permission has been obtained for a 50-bed hotel, a pub/restaurant and a nursery/crèche facility.

Matt Fitton, development manager at Peel, said: "It is fantastic to see Vantage Court finished. The six buildings have been built using high quality materials in order to complement local architecture. We are also very pleased to have obtained outline planning permission for the hotel, pub and nursery to provide the facilities required by businesses located on Riverside Business Park as well as the local community."
