PD Properties brings Altrincham HQ to market

A full refurbishment of its 30,000 sq ft building on Stamford Street is due to complete in July with Colliers appointed to market the office.

Once it completes, the office will offer floorplates ranging between 2,315 sq ft to nearly 12,000 sq ft. Studio Neo is the architect, while Contract Services is working on the fit-out.

Works being carried out include adding a double-height reception, improved frontage, new lifts and toilets, and cycle storage; the building is expected to hand over in July.

The building sits next to the Stamford Court office and roughly opposite the Malt Shovels pub. PD Properties, headed up by Andrew Joseph, owns the building.

Scott Shufflebottom, associate director, national offices at Colliers International, said: “On completion in July, the comprehensive refurbishment of Vertex will provide an exceptional HQ building in a proven location to meet rising occupational demand for Grade A office space throughout south Manchester.

“Vertex is the latest success story in a market town that has truly reinvented itself and we therefore predict a great level of interest from prospective occupiers.”
