Susan Patterson Kier Roundtable

Patterson joins Morgan Sindall from Kier

Susan Patterson has left Kier to join Morgan Sindall as senior business development manager to work alongside Emma Williams.

Patterson started her role this week after spending around three-and-a-half years at Kier. Previous roles include business development manager for GB Building and Sutcliffe, as well as a project co-ordinator for Ryder Architecture.

She will work alongside fellow senior business development manager Emma Williams, who is due to go on maternity leave in November this year, and Patterson will continue to work alongside Williams in the North West when she returns from leave in September 2019.

Both Williams and Patterson will report to Barry Roberts, recently promoted to managing director of the contractor’s northern business unit. Roberts was formerly North West area director at the company.

Morgan Sindall said Patterson’s appointment was due to the anticipated levels of growth in the North West in the coming years. The contractor is active throughout the region and is currently delivering projects in Salford, Manchester, and Liverpool, including a multi-storey car park and a PRS scheme at New Bailey in Salford, and The Spine, part of Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter.

Well done Susan. Good move.

I agree it’s a good move to Morgan Sindall, however, two BDMs working together isn’t always a successful combination. Hope it all works out well though.
