Party with superMODELS
The friendly people at RIBA North West have invited Place readers to the launch party for the superMODELS exhibition at the Home Quarter in Liverpool One on Thursday evening.
The recent call for entries for the show, following on from June's Love Architecture festival, attracted more than 60 entries. Of these, 38 models were selected for the exhibition, which runs for the public from 29 June to 24 July.
Among the exhibitors is Andrew Wallace Architects with models by Charles Egan and Andrew Wallace of Black Stone Edge, pictured above, a private residence for a rocky outcrop in the Pennine Valley.
Roger Stephenson Architects shows a wooden model, pictured left, by Creative Services Industries and Eron Chadderton, of Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, which completes this year.
The launch event is due to take place from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 28 June at the Home Quarter, Hanover Street, Liverpool One. Please RSVP to supermodels@liverpoolarchitecture.org to reserve a place.

After clicking on the heading, this is one of the most biggest letdowns and such a boring article. Really disappointed 🙁

I attended last night, great exhibition! It was great to see support for students as well as commercial practice.
