Partner promotions at Sheppard Robson

Architectural practice Sheppard Robson has made two senior promotions in its Manchester office. Alex Solk and Rupert Goddard have been promoted to partner and, alongside Tony O'Brien, will now form the senior management team.

Solk was previously associate partner. He joined the company in 2003 and specialises in science, healthcare and education projects. Goddard has been promoted from a design director role, having worked on several university projects since he joined the firm in 2007.

The practice has designed several projects in Manchester, including the Orange building at MediaCityUK and the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons for the University of Manchester.

Partners Tim Evans and Andrew Bowles will be moving to consultancy roles within the practice.
